Admissions criteria
Candidates with a Matura certificate may apply for admission to the study programme.
The admission procedure shall be based on the entrance examination of the candidate's artistic abilities and the interview.
1. Playing the instrument:
- any work played on the instrument of choice.
Scores: 1 — 10 pts.
2. Auditory training:
- recognition of intervals and chords,
- solfège – reading notes aloud,
- vocal presentation of a rhythmic progression with timing.
Scores: 1 — 10 pts.
3. Vocal aptitude:
- presentation of a freely prepared chant/song.
Scores: 1 — 10 pts.
4. Interview:
- a discussion on general music knowledge and motivation to choose the study programme.
Scores: 1 — 10 pts.
Scores: 1 to 40 points; positive result: from 21 points.
The candidate's final score is the sum of the points obtained from the individual elements of the admission procedure. A positive final result shall be a minimum score of 21 points.
Qualification for the study programme mentioned above shall be determined by the place on the ranking list created based on the sum of points obtained.
