Admissions criteria
Candidates with a Matura certificate may apply for admission to the study programme.
The admission procedure shall be based on the entrance examination of the candidate's artistic abilities and the interview.
1. Playing the instrument and auditory aptitude test:
- any work played on the instrument of choice. If the candidate plays a different instrument than a piano, they must come for the exam with the instrument (and possibly with the accompanist);
- checking general auditory aptitude.
Scores: 1 to 10 points.
2. Presentation of own sound/audiovisual works:
- the candidate shall present two works of a different nature, delivered as USB files in a standard, common format, e.g., WAV, AIFF, MP3 or MP4, WMV, AVI, 3GP, 3G2, M4V, MOV, etc.) or optionally on a CD-Audio or DVD. These can be recordings, computer arrangements, game soundtracks, sound or audiovisual editing, etc. The candidate shall present orally the assumptions and technical details of the works.
Scores: 1 to 10 points.
3. Interview:
- a discussion on general knowledge of music and art in electronic media and film and motivation for the choice of the study programme.
Scores: 1 to 10 points.
Scores: 1 to 30 points, positive result: from 16 points.
The candidate's final score is the sum of the points obtained from the individual elements of the admission procedure. A positive final result shall be a minimum score of 16 points.
Qualification for the study programme mentioned above shall be determined by the place on the ranking list created based on the sum of points obtained.
