Admissions criteria
For candidates with the new and the old MATURA:
Stage 1 – practical exam:
1. Drawing exam – the study of a human figure – 5 hours (format: 100x70 cm, technique to choose from: pencil, carbon, wash or sepia drawing).
2. Colour composition exam – 3 hours (format: 70x50 cm, any technique).
Stage 2 – interview, review and evaluation of examination work and portfolios with the work of the candidate:
The interview shall concern the candidate’s interests in the field of art. Examination papers and additional papers shall also be discussed – the candidate's 'portfolio' of up to 20 artworks on various subjects representing the candidate's work to date.
A portfolio can be included.
Scores: 1 to 30 points, positive result: from 8 to 30 points.
The candidate for the study programme shall be required to submit an appropriate medical certificate for the absence of a medical contraindication before the exams to study this study programme.
Candidates must have passed the Matura/baccalaureate exam.
