Heritage at work - between the local and the european

Description

The aim of the project is to introduce the participants to cultural heritage, joint reflection on its geographical dimensions – local, regional, national and European – and their interrelation as well as its management in contemporary Europe.

Assessment of the learning outcomes of the module

Workshop will start online in the second part of June with core part to be organised onsite in Katowice and Cieszyn on 21-25 October.

After the introductory lecture on cultural heritage, the participants will get acknowledged with assumptions of the survey concerning common European heritage, which will be conducted among the students of their universities.  The results will be discussed in the first part of October and then will be presented during First Annual Conference on 22nd October in the Museum of Metallurgy in Chorzów in the Upper Silesia. The presentation, apart from keynote speaker’s lecture, will be an introduction to panel discussion on common European heritage.

The participants of the workshop will take part in the subsequent part of the conference „Common European Heritage – theoretical framework, values, sustainability” on 23rd October in Cieszyn
